New League Dates Announced for Hurricane Season

Attention Space Cadets: Get over your tropical depression by attending this Category 5 event. The 1820 League mini season will start next month on Monday, August 5. Beware, the fierce winds of competition will force you to hunker down and hope the only drains you witness are the storm tides flowing in the bayou.

The wonderful Charlie Kalas will again host us at Eighteen Twenty Lounge. The force majeure begins at 7 PM and it will only cost $10 for the whole season.

Space Cadets will test their skills to manipulate physical matter using electricity and mechanical engineering constructs. Course Instructions: SCPL Cadets will assembly in small study groups of 3-4. Each group will attempt to outperform their group peers in a test of skill on one of the specialized electromechanical PhysXXX simulators available. SCPL Cadets will perform 3 rounds of 2 games each class session. The series will be 6 weeks long with a minimum attendance of 4 weeks. Cadets desiring to audit for less than 4 weeks are welcome to attend. SCPL Cadets best 4 overall weekly class session scores will be aggregated to determine final class rank. Doors open at 1pm, tourney starts at 1:30. Venue is limited to those aged 21 and up. Plenty of free street parking on Sundays.
